Award winning packaging!

Opal in partnership with Ferrero Australia and The Mix Agency, has received 2 Gold and 1 Silver at the Shop! ANZ 2020 Retail Marketing Awards.

These annual awards recognise Retail Marketing excellence in Australia and New Zealand. With Gold in both Industrial Design and Best Grocery Temporary Display for the Nutella SMEG Winter Campaign and Silver for the Ferrero Rocher Unwrap Christmas, the Awards were a chance for the team to celebrate after a challenging and innovative year.

Bio-Manufacturing Training Centre opening

The purpose-built Bio-Manufacturing Training Centre at TAFE Gippsland Yallourn officially opened with the Hon. Gayle Tierney, Minister for Training and Skills, attending. The Training Centre was delivered under the BioPathways Partnership with Opal Australian Paper, Federation University and TAFE Gippsland.
