Opal delivers premium shelf-ready packaging for SOMA launch
There’s a real thrill being part of the launch of a new product, especially when it’s done by two entrepreneurs who formerly held senior roles with MECCA.
SOMA was born from a desire to fill a gap in the market for luxurious, beautifully fragranced body washes, at an affordable price tag and available through supermarkets.
Under extremely tight timeframes, Opal jumped at the opportunity to collaborate with Georgie and Camille to design and manufacture premium, shelf-ready packaging for the body wash range, at record speed, which is sold exclusively through Woolworths stores.
The packaging needed to be robust and functional to protect the bottles of body wash during transportation, yet simple to unbox and slimline to place instore in shelf-ready branded trays.
Redefining affordable body care, SOMA body washes, which are free from ingredients such as parabeans, silicones, DEA, PEGS and artificial dyes, come in three premium fragrances:
- Amber & Jasmine – evoking a warm, woody and floral fragrance.
- Almond & Vanille – featuring a sweet, creamy aromatic scent.
- Vetiver & Cedar – created with an earthy, woody and green perfume.
Opal’s recyclable, shelf-ready packaging for SOMA gave the Australian owned and made range the speed to make a bold debut in Woolworths stores across the nation.
