Bronte Body and Opal set a new standard for recyclable beauty packaging
Co-founders of Bronte Body Camille Peressini and Georgie Gilbert share their experience of collaborating with Opal to launch their beauty care range.
Make it beautiful. Make it recyclable.
That was the brief Georgie Gilbert and I gave to all our partners – albeit with plenty of “pleases” and “thank-yous” along the way. With champagne tastes and what we were once told was a “water budget,” finding partners who were creative, collaborative, and unencumbered by bureaucracy was no small feat. But we knew that delivering a brand with all the bells and whistles, while keeping it accessible, would demand exactly that.
From the moment we sat down with the Opal’s Specialty Packaging team they rose to the occasion. Drawing on their deep expertise in premium wine and spirits packaging, they showcased the kind of creativity and capability we couldn’t resist. Their ability to weave elements of luxury into our design aesthetic gave us confidence that we were on the right track.
Fast forward 12 months, and our direct2customers and PR mailers are hot off the press. Made from 100% recycled cardboard they embrace the natural beauty of packaging that can also be recycled. We opted for minimalist design and minimal ink to ensure high recyclability and low impact. Custom inserts introduce ‘your new body care routine,’ keeping Bronte front and centre while ensuring every packaging element complements, rather than competes with, the products themselves.
100% recycled board. 100% recyclable. And beautiful.
A huge thank you to the team at Opal for bringing this vision to life. We’re thrilled to grow Bronte and our business with your support, showcasing the best of Australian manufacturing to consumers and retailers here and abroad.
