Following the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines, our teams engineer wood fibre packaging for strength, performance and recyclability. By combining structural design with barrier coatings and recycled materials, we help customers work towards National Packaging Targets without compromising on functionality.
We increased recycled content in John Dee’s chilled and frozen meat boxes, lifting recycled fibre use across multiple formats while maintaining strength. This change brought the business closer to the National Packaging Targets and demonstrated the power of packaging to drive sustainability outcomes.
In partnership with Coles, we trialled kerbside-recyclable cardboard punnets for Eureka blueberries. The switch from plastic packs was tested in 34 stores, combining Australian-produced recycled board with a transparent wood-pulp film, proving recyclable alternatives can meet cold-chain and consumer needs.
Our $140 million corrugating facility in Wodonga sets a new benchmark for packaging innovation, combining advanced machinery, solar energy and automated waste handling to deliver high-performance, sustainable packaging at scale.
