The project, proposed by Opal Paper Australia Pty Ltd also known as Australian Paper (AP), involves the construction and operation of an energy from waste (EfW) plant on its existing pulp and paper mill site in Maryvale, located between Tanjil East and Traralgon West roads near the townships of Traralgon and Morwell, Victoria.
