State of the art recycling
This modern recycling and manufacturing facility is located in Botany, New South Wales, where paper has been produced since 1902. The most recent production line was commissioned in 2012, replacing the previous generation of machines and is now recognised as an industry benchmark for containerboard manufacturing.
The division also offers a range of Recycling services including collections, equipment supply & servicing, staff education and training, account management and reporting to cater for a wide range of businesses, from small to medium enterprises through to large supermarkets chains. Opal Paper and Recycling is one of Australia’s largest cardboard recycling operations collecting approximately 600,000 tonnes of mostly Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) annually which is used to produce 100% recycled corrugated packaging board.
