Opal and Gayndah Packers innovative paper-based citrus label

With a focus on innovation, Gayndah Packers has partnered with Opal to launch a first to market paper-based label for citrus, using Accu-Label’s state-of-the-art labelling technology. Brent Chambers, General Manager Gayndah Packers, says the Accu-Label machinery has increased productivity without comprising application and that paper-based labels provide a key point of differentiation for consumers.

Bio-Manufacturing Training Centre opening

The purpose-built Bio-Manufacturing Training Centre at TAFE Gippsland Yallourn officially opened with the Hon. Gayle Tierney, Minister for Training and Skills, attending. The Training Centre was delivered under the BioPathways Partnership with Opal Australian Paper, Federation University and TAFE Gippsland.
