Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) host Opal virtual tour

The AIP will host a virtual site tour of Opal across Australia for their members on Wednesday, 1 November 2023.

The virtual site tour will provide an overview of Opal’s value chain, including our recycling operations, corrugated converting and digital printing capabilities and the production of recycled paper bags for the grocery sector.

Our team at Opal looks forward to showing you around some of our key sites and will conduct a live Q&A following the AIP virtual site tour.

Opal and JBS Australia win WorldStar global packaging award

Opal and JBS Australia are delighted to have won a 2023 WorldStar global packaging award in the transit category for their innovative corrugated cardboard dunnage solution.

The dunnage was previously awarded Gold in both the Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year Industrial sub-category and Outside of the Box Design of the Year at the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards in 2022.
