Opal’s $140 million high tech corrugated cardboard packaging facility is on track to be completed and operational by October 2023.
Opal and JBS Australia are delighted to have won a 2023 WorldStar global packaging award in the transit category for their innovative corrugated cardboard dunnage solution.
The dunnage was previously awarded Gold in both the Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year Industrial sub-category and Outside of the Box Design of the Year at the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards in 2022.
The Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards (PIDAs) finalists across 12 categories have been announced! Opal has been recognised as a finalist for three Opal produced products across four categories.
Visit us at Opal’s stand 27-29 at this year’s Hort Connections in Brisbane. Opal will be showcasing a range of sustainable and innovative packaging solutions for fresh produce products.
Opal celebrated our second anniversary and we held events across our sites in Australia and New Zealand with team members wearing a touch of pink.
