Opal partners with BlockTexx® to ‘button up’ uniform waste
Opal, a leading recycling, paper and packaging business, is happy to announce its partnership with textile recycling experts, BlockTexx®. The initiative will see old and unused uniforms from Opal’s Paper & Recycling Botany Mill collected and recycled into valuable new materials, reinforcing Opal’s commitment to sustainability.

Victoria’s first Bottom Ash Recycling facility approved for development
In a major step forward, an $8 million Bottom Ash Recycling facility has been approved by EPA Victoria. It is the first facility of its kind to be approved for construction in the state and will be located with the Maryvale Energy from Waste (EfW) facility.
