In a move to meet growing market demand for recyclable fibre packaging, Opal has invested more than $140M to construct a world class, high speed regional manufacturing facility for corrugated packaging.

Located at the Logic Wodonga industrial estate in Victoria, the facility is being constructed in two stages. With the opening of the Wodonga operation, Stage One is now complete. A future Stage Two would further expand the site’s production capacity to meet growing market demand.

Leveraging Opal’s integrated value chain and commitment to circular economy principles, the site will convert recycled and recyclable paper from our Botany and Maryvale Mills, to produce fit-for-purpose fibre packaging.
