Congratulations to Opal team member Pranav, Graduate Process Engineer at Opal Australian Paper, who won the New Speaker Runoff competition for Australia at the Appita Young Professionals Network competition!

Pranav was one of four speakers who participated in the Appita Young Professionals Network competition.

Pranav said the competition was a fantastic experience. “It was my first time presenting at a conference. While I enjoy presenting, all grads should have the opportunity to do this, to build on their professional speaking skills.”

Pranav was awarded an educational grant of $1,500 for career development in the pulp and paper industry and will now represent Australia in the New Zealand versus Australia Appita New Speaker Competition Final.
